Concepts

Credentials, storage, and provider compatibility across the four Cordy products.

The four Cordy products can be used independently. Their shared principles do not imply identical capabilities or data flows.

  • Bring your own model (BYOK): who supplies credentials, where they are stored, and how gateway access differs from a provider key.
  • Privacy and storage: what stays locally, what is sent to providers or your server, and the limits of deletion.
  • Provider matrix: each product's connection model and the compatibility checks needed for a custom endpoint.

Chrome and Mobile configure model connections in the app. Desktop runs external CLI agents with their own authentication and network behavior. Gateway is a server you operate; it manages upstream credentials, members, usage, and billing. Consult each product's guide before assuming that a setting or guarantee applies across the family.
